Shipping & Returns

We currently accept Visa, MasterCard, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Interac.

All items are shipped directly from place of origin and shipped via Fedex, UPS, DHL or Convileo.

We are happy to offer international shipping, however, you must contact us at with: items of interest, quantities and your full shipping address, to receive a shipping quote, prior to placing an order.

For customers outside of Canada, The Coveted Story is not responsible for any import taxes or duties imposed by the country of import. All cross-border duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

All made-to-order items and ‘Last Chance’ items are FINAL SALE - they may not be returned for store credit and are ineligible for exchange.

In-stock items purchased from The Coveted Story may be returned for store credit, or exchanged, within 14 days of shipping receipt. Please contact to request a return authorization. All items must be returned in their original, unused condition, inclusive of all original packaging.

Any damaged or broken items must be reported to The Coveted Story upon receiving at – pictures of the damaged item(s) and packaging are required to process claim. We will do our best to offer a replacement on the item if it is available. All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are unfortunately not eligible for store credit. We do not provide return labels or cover return costs. The Coveted Story is not responsible if the returned package is lost in transit - we recommend you pay to insure and track your package through your chosen carrier.

We pride ourselves on curating a selection of artisanal works from makers around the world. Due to the handmade and organic nature of many of the materials our artisan’s use, we are unable to offer returns for inconsistencies in grain or patterns. These unique markings are natural characteristics to the materials that we celebrate, and hope you do as well.

We always strive to provide accurate lead times, however, lead times are subject to change and are influenced by a multitude of factors that are out of our control. We will always do our best to update you with any changes or delays to your order. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

The Coveted Story is not responsible for changes in customer shipping address during lead time production. It is the sole-responsibility of the customer to update The Coveted Story of any and all changes to shipping that would hinder the delivery of an item ordered with a lead time. The Coveted Story will not be held responsible for items purchased with a lead time being shipped to the address provided at checkout.
