The Alberi Vase is handcrafted in solid Umbrella Pine Wood.  Lorenzo, the artisan, sources the raw material in its territory, in a region in the north east of Italy, Friuli Venezia Giulia. He only uses reclaimed wood, trees that have fallen due to natural events. The shape is simple and archaic. It delivers a striking visual effect with its unique texture. Designed by Gum Design for Hands on Design and hand-turned on a lathe by Lorenzo Franceschinis. The Alberi masterfully shapes the primordial form and highlights its natural cracks, knurls, and veining. It is enriched with a titanium-oxide finish at the base. The evocative gradients, ranging from natural wood to textured gray surface, are unique and vary with each piece. It is available in two sizes tall and short.
