Fungo Black Centerpiece

The Fungo Black Centerpiece is designed by the French designer Térence Coton for Hands on Design and handcrafted in Italy by the artistic woodturner Lorenzo Franceschinis. As its name suggests, this centerpiece is inspired by the shape of a mushroom. The wooden silhouette is turned on a lathe and requires a complex technique to obtain its distinctive elliptical top, by turning the shape only in one direction during the drying stage. In the black version, it is coloured with an iron-based finish.
