TOPTUN is Ukrainian for one who loudly stomps / a collection of live design furniture.
TOPTUN is created with the idea of “soft geometry” — a primitive shape with strongly eminent outlines. Found by exploring the use of materials, forms and craft techniques from ancestral living within her native country, Ukrainian designer, Victoria Yakusha, revives ancient practices through the medium of design. The armchair displays Ukraine's rich history from a contemporary perspective. As much a statement as it is pragmatic, use it in the office or as an accent in the living room.
